Penetration Testing

The best value $995 Penetration Testing

Cost-effective Penetration Testing

In recent years, economic prospects have generally improved across much of the world. Still, per capita income has fallen in a number of developing countries.

As service providers, we at UTMVAULT recognize the economic difficulties present in today’s world. Even so, the verification of IT system security inside every organization should not become a casualty of current circumstances, notwithstanding the decisions required to preserve each organization’s institutional viability.

Over the years, our qualified staff have gained experience carrying out IT review and testing services and conducting security assessments of internal networks and systems at more than one hundred financial institutions worldwide.

Based on our experience with those financial institutions, we have observed differing prices and descriptions for penetration testing services, from the use of basic tools to multi-layered tests involving penetration and exploitation of identified vulnerabilities, requiring days or weeks of work. This has also let us see how greatly prices can differ among service providers.

Understanding these conditions inspired us to create Unified Security Stack, a product intended to deliver the same quality of service at a price well below the industry standard. This enables us to compete in the market while also providing an invaluable service. Considering every aspect, we decided to price our penetration testing service at only $ 995.

To address any possible doubts you may have about the penetration testing service we provide, below is a compiled list of the questions our clients most frequently ask. Please also feel free to review our terms and conditions for more information.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

This service is a test intended to identify vulnerabilities to external penetration, and it may or may not exploit the vulnerabilities found during the process. It covers up to 25 IP (Internet Protocol) addresses owned or controlled by your organization. To implement this service, you must assign it to the IP addresses where you want the tests performed. The tests will be conducted using our automated testing solutions toolkit.

In IT security terminology, the term penetration test refers to tests run on a system to actively identify vulnerabilities. A penetration test may be exploitative or non-exploitative. In a non-exploitative test, the penetration test only discovers the system’s vulnerabilities and later informs your organization of the presence of those vulnerabilities. An exploitative test, conversely, goes somewhat further than merely detecting vulnerabilities. It shows how an external entity might be able to exploit your organization’s vulnerabilities.

Examples of tools we have used with our customers include Metasploit, OWASP, and others preinstalled in the Kali Linux distribution we use for our tests. The tool or tools chosen to perform the task may vary and are matched to the judgment of the organization’s respective security specialist or expert, as they are accurately evaluated according to the environment in which they will be used. As a rule, we will use only subscription-based tools to ensure file updates and, consequently, make it easier to detect recently emerged vulnerabilities.

As a general rule of thumb, and consistent with sound maintenance practices, organizations are advised to conduct a penetration test after any change to the configuration of their security servers or because of the installation of any wording, for example newly acquired foreign hardware. An external penetration test is the only way to effectively confirm that those changes did not create new vulnerabilities. Our $995 service fee covers the performance of one test at a time you choose. We also offer more frequent testing intervals at a discounted rate per test performed. Periodic external penetration testing also offers the advantage of demonstrating the efficacy of your systems’ general monitoring programs to regulating authorities.

In view of the variability of existing prices for this service and current competition, we decided to create an offer able to compete in the market, grounded in the value and needs of the institutions. We believe that setting the price at $ 995 makes it competitive and affordable for our customers, especially in light of the current economic climate.

After a penetration test is performed and the client fixes the vulnerabilities found, we can carry out an additional penetration test to determine whether the applied fixes resolved the reported vulnerabilities.

The penetration testing will include not only details of critical vulnerabilities but also recommendations for best practices and a list of all tests performed.
